In a seemingly endless fight against terrorists and terrorist action, one key to the success of this fight comes in the form of radio jamming. Radio frequency jamming may be used in variety applications to acquire a number of different results; all of which are to protect troops and/or civilians thought to be in jeopardy of a terrorist attack.

IED Jammers are radio frequency jammers which are capable of emitting signals on a wide variety of bandwidths. This versatility makes IED jammers ideal when entering into an area where a variety of threats may be present. The varying bandwidths allow the user to disable a variety of eminent threats when there is knowledge of their existence and will give added protection when unknown threats are present.

A bomb jammer may be found in a variety of differing configurations. The sole purpose of a bomb jammer is to interrupt any radio frequency which may be used to detonate a bomb. The device simply emits a signal on a specified bandwidth and disrupts any connection which a terrorist may be trying to establish with the bomb.

Convoy protection relies heavily on the use of radio jamming devices. Multiple terrorist threats may be present where a known convoy of troops is known to frequent. By utilizing the RF jammers, convoy protection may be acquired by blocking any signals which the terrorists may be trying to send to any number of threats. There are times where convoys are responsible for carrying supplies from one location to another or for carrying injured soldiers from one location to another which may be necessary for the survival of the soldier. In addition to military applications, these devices may be used where a civilian threat is believed to be present. By using an RF jammer in a large gathering where a VIP, such as the President or any other leader, is to be present, the threat of a terrorist bombing via remote control is less likely to occur.

Regardless of the intended application of an RF jammer, the result is the same. By blocking any form of radio transmission, the terrorist is not able to communicate with another terrorist or send a radio signal via remote to an explosion device such as a bomb.
